Bethesda Dental Group is Dr. Shawn Samad’s and Dr. Thomas R. a'Becket, DDS private practice.

Dr. Shawn Samad attendedthe University of Maryland School of Dentistry where he received his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree. He has received extensive training and experience in Endodontics (Root Canals), Oral Surgery, Implantology, and Invisalign Orthodontics. His belief is Knowledge is Success!! He is still undergoing Continuing Education (CE) regularly in the newest, latest and greatest techniques and technology to improve our practice.

Dr. Samad's motto in his work is, “Changing lives, one tooth at a time.” Come on in and meet him. You won’t be disappointed!

Dr. a'Becket's graduated from Georgetown University School of Dentistry and has practiced in Laurel since 1977. He enjoys providing dentistry for the entire family with a special interest in restorative implant treatment is active in organized dentistry, and has served as President of the Southern Maryland Dental Society and Treasurer of the Maryland State Dental Association. His interests include landscaping and bowling. He is married with two sons.
