3. Appointment Requests & Dental Emergencies

Submitting an appointment request through our website does not automatically confirm an appointment. Our team may contact you to confirm availability, appointment details, and any information needed before your visit. Bethesda Dental Group’s current online booking process similarly states that the front office will contact patients following an appointment request.

We make reasonable efforts to accommodate requested dates and times, but availability is not guaranteed until confirmed by our office.

If you have an urgent dental problem, please call the office rather than relying solely on an online form. Bethesda Dental Group currently provides emergency dental support through its Bethesda office at (301) 951-9500.

For a life-threatening medical emergency, call 911 or seek appropriate emergency medical care.

4. Treatment Plans, Estimates & Fees

Dental treatment and pricing are individualized. Any estimate provided before or during your visit is based on the information available at that time.

Your treatment plan or cost may change if an examination, X-rays, imaging, diagnostic testing, or treatment reveals conditions that were not previously known.

When a material change to the recommended treatment is identified, we will explain the updated treatment and associated costs before proceeding whenever reasonably possible.

Treatment will be subject to any applicable informed-consent requirements and financial arrangements.

Bethesda Dental Group may offer in-house or third-party financing options to help eligible patients manage the cost of dental care.

Approval is not guaranteed, and Bethesda Dental Group is not responsible for independent eligibility or credit decisions made by third-party financing providers.

7. Dental Insurance

Bethesda Dental Group works with PPO dental insurance plans. The practice’s current website publishes PPO insurance acceptance, but actual coverage and benefits depend on the individual patient’s plan.
Information we provide about estimated insurance benefits is not a guarantee of payment by your insurance company.

Your insurer determines eligibility, covered procedures, deductibles, annual maximums, waiting periods, exclusions, reimbursement levels, and other plan benefits.

You remain responsible for amounts not paid by your insurance plan unless otherwise agreed in writing.

We encourage patients to review their individual policy or contact their insurer when they need confirmation of specific benefits.

8. Dental Treatment, Results & Warranties

Dentistry involves individual biological, medical, functional, and behavioral factors. For that reason, treatment results, healing times, longevity of restorations, cosmetic outcomes, and other clinical outcomes may vary from patient to patient.

Information or examples shown on this website — including treatment descriptions, photographs, before-and-after images, expected timelines, or patient experiences — should not be interpreted as a guarantee that another patient will receive the same result.

Any specific warranty or guarantee offered for a dental product or restoration, if applicable, will be provided separately and subject to its own written conditions.
